Q.How often is the data updated?

Fuel prices are sourced from the UK Government's Fuel Finder service and updated every five minutes. EV charger availability comes straight from the charging networks' own feeds, refreshed every two minutes, with a live re-check every 45 seconds while you're looking at chargers. Nozzle fetches the latest data each time you open the app or pull to refresh.

Q.How many stations and chargers are covered?

Nozzle covers over 7,000 fuel stations across the UK, sourced from the Government's Fuel Finder service. This includes major brands like Asda, BP, Shell, Tesco, and thousands of independent forecourts.

For EV charging, Nozzle covers thousands of public charge points across eight networks: GeniePoint, Mer, Clenergy EV, JOLT, ChargePlace Scotland, MFG EV Power, char.gy and ubitricity, with more networks on the way.

Q.Does Nozzle cover EV charging?

Yes. Switch to EV mode for live socket availability, price per kWh, charging speeds and connector types. Day and night tariffs are shown before you plug in, so you know exactly what a charge will cost.

Q.Why can't I see any stations?

Make sure you've granted location access, or search for a UK location manually. Nozzle only covers UK fuel stations listed on the Government's Fuel Finder service.

Q.Why is a price or status missing?

Some stations don't sell all fuel types. If a price shows as "—", the retailer hasn't reported a price for that fuel at that station. The same honesty applies to chargers: if a network doesn't publish a price or live status, Nozzle shows Unknown instead of guessing.

Q.Which platforms is Nozzle available on?

Nozzle is available on iPhone (iOS 18 or later) and Android (Android 8.0 or later).

Q.Does Nozzle track me?

No. Nozzle has no analytics, no tracking, and no accounts. Your location is used on-device only and never leaves your phone. See our privacy policy for details.
